How long does a currency exchange take?

Walk-in exchanges are processed instantly — usually within 2–5 minutes. Western Union and MoneyGram remittances typically arrive in 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on destination.

For standard exchanges, a valid government-issued ID (National ID, Passport, or Driver’s Licence) is sufficient. For large transactions or remittances, additional documentation may be required per BOU regulations.

Our rates are updated daily to reflect market conditions. We display separate buying and selling rates. There are no hidden commissions — the rate on our board is exactly the rate you get.
